Dr. Tony Smith, Sr. was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost on a Tuesday on June 1, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois at the House of Prayer C.O.G.I.C. (Church of God in Christ). The pastor was Dr. Lincoln Scott. Pastor Smith quickly began to work in the ministry in the choir and Sunday School Ministry as he grew as a Christian. Dr. Smith served the House of Prayer C.O.G.I.C. for about ten years until he joined An Open Door Church (A.O.D.C.) in Hammond, Indiana. Again, he would work faithfully in the ministry and was ordained as an Elder and soon after began to work on starting a church under A.O.D.C. leadership. Pastor Smith would be ordained as a Pastor. And on July 4th, 2004, Dr. Smith would start World Harvest Family Center (W.H.F.C.) began with his lovely wife and five children. W.H.F.C. officially started on January 13, 2005. Dr. Smith has received his Doctoral his Master in Biblical Studies.

Pastor Tony was called to the lord on November 14, 2021.
